Drone Services in Florida: Aerial Photography, Video, Mapping and Inspections
Drone Permission is an FAA Part 107 licensed and insured crew that flies, photographs, films, maps, and edits for construction, real estate, hospitality, and brand teams across Florida. This page lists every service we offer, who each one is for, and where to go next. Air, ground, sound, and editing all come from one crew.

Most projects do not need one service, they need a few that line up. A tower under construction needs a foundation pour record, a topping out film, a monthly map, and edited video the owner can send to investors. A hotel needs aerial marketing stills, interior photography, and a headshot day for the sales team. We built this page so you can see every option in one place, pick the ones that match your project, and open the page that goes deeper. Everything we fly is operated under FAA Part 107, with airspace authorization requested before the flight date.

Which Service Fits Your Project?
Start with what you need to show or measure. If it is a building or a brand, you want photography and video. If it is the ground, a site, or a quantity, you want mapping. If it is a facade or roof that someone has to certify, you want inspection imagery for your engineer. If it is a milestone, you want ceremony or pour documentation.

How Does Working With Drone Permission Run?
Every service follows the same four steps: we plan the capture and clear the airspace, a Part 107 pilot flies it, we process and edit the results, and you receive files your team can open. The same crew handles air, ground, sound, and editing, so one visit and one safety briefing cover the whole job.
On site, Miami. Pilots arrive in PPE, sign in with the superintendent, and agree a launch point before takeoff.
1. Planning
We review the site, the objective, and the airspace, and request LAANC authorization before the flight date.
2. Capture
A Part 107 certificated pilot flies the planned path, with ground photography and sound captured on the same visit when needed.
3. Processing
Images become maps and models, and video is cut, graded, and finished by the same crew that shot it.
4. Delivery
Files arrive in formats your team already opens, so they go straight into your workflow.

Drone Permission Services FAQ
What services does Drone Permission offer?
Drone Permission offers aerial drone photography and video, video production and post production, drone mapping in Miami and Tampa, drone inspections and 40-year recertification documentation in Miami, topping out ceremony and foundation pour documentation, on-location photography, interior and architectural photography, corporate headshots, and FAA Part 107 drone pilot training. Each service has its own page with details.
Where does Drone Permission work?
We work across Florida, with the most active coverage in Miami and South Florida, Tampa Bay, and Orlando. Each market has its own page with local detail. If your project sits somewhere else in the state, contact us and we will confirm availability.
Are your pilots licensed and insured?
Yes. Every commercial flight is operated by an FAA Part 107 licensed remote pilot, and our pilots are insured. We handle LAANC authorizations as part of the job rather than treating airspace as the client's problem. If your general contractor has specific insurance documentation requirements for vendors, raise it when you schedule so it is sorted out before the crew arrives.
Do I need a permit to fly a drone for my project?
You do not need a permit as the client, but the operator does need credentials. Commercial flights require an FAA Part 107 certificated remote pilot and a Remote ID equipped aircraft. Most of Miami-Dade sits under controlled airspace, so many flights also need LAANC authorization, which we request before the flight date.
Can one crew handle aerial footage, ground photography, and editing?
Yes. Air, ground, sound, and editing come from the same crew, so one visit and one safety briefing cover the whole capture. That is why the aerial, video, post production, and photography services link to each other, and why most projects use more than one of them.
Can a drone replace a surveyor or a licensed engineer?
No. Drone mapping delivers data that is useful for progress tracking and quantity checks, but it is not a boundary survey, a topographic survey, or an engineering certification. Anything going to a legal, boundary, or engineering use needs a Florida licensed professional. Drone imagery gives that professional better access and a dated record to work from.
